Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-01 · This policy applies to dramanest.fyi and its subdomains.
1. Who we are
DramaNest (“we”, “us”) operates a platform for watching and publishing vertical short drama series and browser games. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at the address in section 10.
2. What we collect
| Category | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account data | E-mail address, display name, hashed password or third-party login identifier | To create and secure your account, and to sign you in |
| Content you publish | Video files, poster images, titles, descriptions | To host and display your series to viewers |
| Usage data | Pages viewed, episodes played, follow lists, IP address, browser and device type, timestamps | To keep the service working, prevent abuse, and understand what content is popular |
| Payment data | Processed by our payment providers; we receive only a transaction reference and status, never your full card number | To activate memberships and pay creators |
We do not knowingly collect more than we need, and we do not sell your personal data.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries that are necessary for the service to function — for example a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a preference entry that remembers your language or theme. Blocking these may break sign-in and playback.
Third parties (including advertising and analytics providers, see sections 4 and 5) may also set their own cookies when you visit this site.
4. Advertising — Google AdSense and third-party vendors
This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info, or in the EU at www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- For more information about how Google uses data when you use our site, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland), we ask for your consent before non-essential advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time.
5. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand traffic levels and which series or games are popular. These reports do not identify you individually.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the account and playback you asked for), legitimate interests (keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and funding it with advertising), and consent (non-essential cookies and personalized advertising, where required).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us using section 10 and we will respond within the time required by law.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
8. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Data retention and security
We keep account data for as long as your account exists, and keep logs for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. When you delete your account we remove or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain records to meet legal or accounting obligations. We use HTTPS, access controls and rate limiting to protect your data, but no service can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, e-mail us at privacy@dramanest.fyi. You can also use the Copyright & takedown page for rights-holder notices.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
